3DGence’s PEEK™ Aero is one of the best-performing thermoplastics available for additive manufacturing. A focal distinction of the polymer is complying with AS9100 Aerospace certification.

Certified filaments play a key role in industrial 3D printing, especially in these sectors where safety comes first. PEEK™ Aero belongs to the high-performance polymers group – the filaments that can handle the most demanding environment. It features top heat resistance (high temperatures applications up to 260°C), chemical resistance, and high tensile and excellent impact strength. Thanks to its low flammability (UL94 V-0), reduced weight and AS9100 Aerospace certification, the material is desired in aerospace, space, and defense industries.

AS9100 Aerospace standards (by the International Aerospace Quality Group) describe requirements for using Quality Management System (QMS) for contractors delivering solutions for aviation, space, and defense companies. Internationally recognized AS9100 standards are based on ISO 9001 (by the International Organization for Standardization), however, it is slightly modified according to the needs of the aerospace industry. To meet aerospace-specific requirements, contractors working with the aerospace industry need to follow QMS rules given in AS9100. In order to meet AS9100 expectations, each spool of 3DGence PEEK Aero is fully traceable to ensure product quality and compliance.

Support materials compatible with PEEK™ Aero

PEEK™ Aero is compatible with 3DGence ESM-10 support material, offering a versatile solution for complex 3D printing applications. Utilizing supports in 3D printing provides several advantages, including the ability to create intricate geometries, overhangs, and detailed internal structures that would be impossible to achieve with unsupported prints.
